The Giants of Tarangire
The Giants of Tarangire

Into the Short Grass Plains (Ndutu)
After breakfast with a view, you descend toward the Ndutu region, the southern heartbeat of the Serengeti-Ngorongoro ecosystem.
The experience: As you enter the plains, the landscape opens up into a sea of grass. This is the prime territory for the great migration’s calving season (Dec–March). You’ll witness the raw nature of thousands of wildebeests and the predators — cheetahs and lions — that shadow them.
Accommodation: Safari Haven Migration Camp. An elegant, seasonal tented camp that brings you close to the action without sacrificing comfort. Fall asleep to the distant calls of hyenas under a canopy of stars.

The Pulse of the Migration
The Pulse of the Migration
A full day dedicated to the Ndutu plains. There is no set path here; your guide will follow the movement of the herds and the whispers of predator sightings.
The experience: Search for the "big cats" of Ndutu. The area is world-renowned for its resident cheetah population and dramatic hunts.
The transition: In the late afternoon, leave the dust of the plains behind and head toward the lush, green highlands of Karatu.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Farm House. A charming, luxury colonial-style lodge set on a 500-acre coffee plantation. It provides a peaceful, grounded contrast to the raw heat of the plains.

The Lost World & Return to Zanzibar

The experience: This "Eighth Wonder of the World" is a self-contained Eden. In just 5 hours, you can see the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, roaming the floor of the ancient caldera. Lunch is at the hippo pool.
