Start your journey with an early breakfast at Point Zone Resort. Your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel, and with a nice safari jeep, you'll travel on a smooth road through the pretty Maasai plains with acacia trees. You'll see the colorful Maasai people walking, cycling, and herding animals. Your destination is Tarangire National Park, famous for elephants and lots of other animals.

When the day winds down, you'll head to a lodge in Karatu Town. There, you'll have a tasty dinner and stay the night at Eileen's Trees Inn, remembering all the exciting things from the day.

Start your day early by driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, an awe-inspiring location. Descend the 600m walls to the crater floor, where you'll encounter Africa's captivating wildlife. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known as one of the Natural World's wonders. Ngorongoro crater, formed through a volcanic explosion millions of years ago, hosts abundant mammal populations, including the rare black rhino. This unique reserve houses the Big Five and other animals like zebras, hippos, and hyenas. Witness diverse bird species, including flamingoes on the soda lake. The Crater attracts numerous visitors each year, offering exceptional game viewing opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo lake before embarking on ascend the crater and drive head to your accommodation in Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay at Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp.

Day 4

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Before sunrise around 6 am you leave the tented camp for an early morning game drive. This is generally the best time to spot the wildlife, as the temperature is cool and the animals are still very active, including the big cats, which will be returning from a night of hunting.

You will then drive back to the camp for a leisurely breakfast followed by a pure relaxation break. In the afternoon after lunch, you will then go for another afternoon game drive and sunset viewing over the Serengeti.

In the late evening after the extensive game drive, you'll drive to the tented camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, start your game drive from Serengeti National Park to Karatu Town, a 4 ½ hour drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Pause at Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakeys uncovered a 1.8 million-year-old Australopithecus boisei skeleton, a pivotal find in human evolution. Explore the nearby canyon, revealing ruins of three hominoid species and ancient footprints dating back 3.7 million years, making it one of the world's oldest hominoid habitation sites.
Enjoy your packed Lunch box at Olduvai Gorge, then continue to Karatu Town concluding with a game drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen's Trees Inn.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha City

Start your day with breakfast and then head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its rich wildlife. The park gets its name from the shallow Salt Lake, home to many flamingos and over 500 bird species.

During your visit, you'll see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and maybe even lions in trees. The park has diverse landscapes, from open grassy plains to wooded areas filled with primates and cliffs adorned with majestic baobab trees. You can enjoy activities like canoeing, bird watching, and photography by the lake.

Have your packed lunch in the park before heading back to Arusha City. Your adventure ends as you get back in time for your flight back home or to your next chosen destination.
