Day 1

You will depart for Masai Mara at 7:00 am (pick up point-Nairobi hotel) with a stopover at Rift Valley Viewpoint and Narok. You will arrive at the camp/lodge in the afternoon and check-in for lunch. At 4:00 pm, you will take your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge late in the evening just in time for dinner. You will enjoy a bonfire as you listen to some interesting Maasai stories.

This day will be spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your full-day game drives will take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve.
Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara, you will see several wildlife such as Masai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. It is also common to see lions either basking under the sun after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common.
