Day 1

Transfer to Kibale National park

Transfer to Kibale National park

The company driver will pick you up from the hotel after your morning breakfast, he will give you short briefing about the safari. You will start your journey driving western region of the country via Mubende to Fort portal where you will have your lunch in one of the cleanest towns in Uganda. Embark on your journey arriving in Kibale late afternoon, check in to the lodge for relaxation after the journey, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Trekking

Chimpanzee Trekking

Rise up for morning breakfast and head out to the park headquarters to join others for briefing on the rules and regulations while tracking the chimpanzees. You will be accompanied by ranger guide well versed with the trails to begin your search in the forest, during the trek, you will be able to see other primates such as monkeys, and baboons among other animals. The trek usually lasts for about 1-4 hours depending on their location. When you find them, you will be allowed one hour to observe them. Return to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate of participation. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for more wildlife and birdwatching.

Day 3

Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

After morning breakfast, Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arriving in the park in time for lunch, later afternoon, you go game drive to see some of the animas in the park, Queen Elizabeth is famous for big five game, expect to see the elephants, lions, leopard, giraffes’ waterbucks, warthogs, antelopes and several other bird species among other animals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth

After morning breakfast, drive to the park for morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will be able to see number of animals grazing in the savannah plains including; leopards, lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, water bucks, antelopes among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. You will go on 2:00pm afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, spotting wildlife and birds.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home of the mountain gorillas, you will drive via Ishasha sector famous for tree climbing lions. On a lucky day, you will be able to see them hanging up on trees. Exit the park and drive to Mbarara town where you will have your lunch. Embark on the journey arriving the park in the afternoon, check-in at your lodge and prepare for gorilla tracking the next day.

Day 6

Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla Trekking

After morning breakfast, head out to the park headquarters to join other trekkers for briefing about the rules and regulations to be followed during gorilla trekking. You will be divided in groups and assigned a particular gorilla family you will be tracking. Thereafter, you start the trek accompanied by an expert guide. The trek often lasts for about 2-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. When you find them, you will be allowed one hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Return to the park headquarters where you will be awarded with the certificate of participation. Drive back to the lodge for relaxation. Afternoon optional Batwa community visit or nature walk.

Rise up for morning breakfast and after, check out of the lodge and drive to lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the deepest and cleanest lakes in Uganda. arriving in lake Bunyonyi in time for lunch, check in to the lodge for relaxation and later afternoon you on a canoe boat to explore some of the areas surrounding lake Bunyonyi like the Islands each having its significant meaning. Among other activities. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

After a relaxed morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and start your return journey back to Kampala. You will have enroute lunch and stop over at the equator monument for photo shoot. Continue to Kampala arriving in the afternoon, the driver will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight back home.
