Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your accommodation at 8:00 a.m. following breakfast, and you will travel for two hours to reach Tarangire National Park. Large herds of elephants and a profusion of old baobab trees—the tallest trees on the continent—are two of the park's most well-known features. Experience the savanna, seasonal marshes, and Tarangire River from the open top of the car. The Tarangire River is home to a diverse array of species, including lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, elephants, and a huge variety of birds. The Tarangire River is spectacularly visible from the Matete picnic location. Following your game viewing and picnic lunch, you will drive to Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Mto wa Mbu to Ndutu

Mto wa Mbu to Ndutu

You will participate in cultural tourism activities after breakfast before traveling to Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti. A one-hour walking or biking tour will take you through indigenous communities, rice plantations, banana farms, and art galleries. After leaving at 10:30 a.m. and traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will arrive in Ndutu by 1:00 p.m. From December through March, you will be able to see the amazing phenomenon of thousands of animals giving birth every day. Young zebras and wildebeests find safety and nourishment in the nutrient-rich grass of Ndutu, as the shorter grass enables adults to identify potential predators. After a fascinating game drive till dusk, you'll have dinner and spend the night at your lodging.

Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu

Your day will begin with an early morning game drive, and then you will spend the entire day watching exciting game. The unfenced southern portion of the Serengeti National Park is encompassed by the Ndutu Region, which is located in the northern portion of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. These two amazing nature areas make a compelling merging at this special site.

Large herds of animals congregate in Lake Ndutu, one of the best places in Ndutu to see wildlife. The lake shares its basin with neighboring Lake Masek, which is situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area just east of Ndutu and provides an essential water source for wildlife.

Day 5

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater

With your meals packed, you will depart Ndutu at six in the morning and go to the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. A wide variety of East African species, including the endangered black rhino, can be found in this vast region. The crater, which covers 260 square kilometers and has a diameter of around 20 kilometers, will take you five to six hours to explore. Lunch will be served inside the crater, and then you'll head to Ngorongoro Marera View Lodge for dinner and the night.

Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will arrive at Lake Manyara National Park's entrance gate after a quick 40-minute drive. Recognized for its distinct community of lions that climb trees, this park presents a varied array of fauna and topography. Over 300 different bird species can be seen in the park, which is dominated by a huge salt lake. The lake floods and dries due to the ever-changing seasons, which enhances the park's dynamic character. Grassy plains, monkey-filled forests, and cliffs with baobab trees will all be sights to behold. Your safari journey will come to an end when you return by car to Arusha.
