½-Day Sunset Safari Game Drive in Chamabondo NP

Explore the wide, untouched wilderness of Chamabondo National Park, beginning just a few kilometres outside Victoria Falls. Once we reach the park entrance, your guide takes care of the formalities, and after a short briefing we follow the old game routes into the heart of Chamabondo. Elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and the elusive leopard all move through this landscape, along with herds of antelope and smaller plains game. The park is unfenced, and the animals follow their own patterns, so every sighting depends on being at the right place at the right time. This is genuine savannah country, not a zoo, but an open stretch of African bush that has carried wildlife for generations. After sightings, we stop for a light lunch and drinks before continuing through the late-afternoon glow, passing waterholes where animals often emerge as the heat fades. The day winds down as we return across the sunset-coloured plains.
