Visiting Tarangire National Park

Day one begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes as your professional guide helps you spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras and many other species. A packed lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites inside the park. Later in the afternoon, you will continue to Karatu and check in at Mvuli Mountain Lodge, where you can relax and enjoy a warm mid-range stay with a delicious dinner.

Visiting the Great Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Descend onto the crater floor for a full day of game viewing, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, hippos and, with luck, the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater as you take in the breathtaking views. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Mvuli Mountain Lodge, where you can relax after an unforgettable day of wildlife exploration.

Visiting Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful reserve known for its lush groundwater forest, diverse birdlife and scenic lakeshore. Enjoy a relaxed game drive where you may spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, and a wide variety of birds. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, which can occasionally be seen resting on the branches. After a picnic lunch, you will exit the park and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where your memorable three-day adventure comes to an end.
