Day 1

After a morning safari briefing, your adventure begins with a journey to Tarangire National Park. This natural haven boasts majestic baobab trees, bush savannahs, and seasonal marshes that enhance its charm. Renowned for its remarkable elephant encounters, Tarangire is a sanctuary teeming with these magnificent creatures.

Alongside elephants, the park is home to buffalos, zebras, and wildebeests, often trailed by various predators, including lions. While leopard sightings are occasional, glimpses of cheetahs are rare.

Throughout the excursion, you'll relish the landscape and observe wildlife from the open roof of the safari jeep. As the day transitions into late afternoon, you'll exit the park and head to the lodge for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll embark on your journey towards Serengeti National Park. This scenic route will take you through the picturesque highland farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Leaving the highlands behind, you'll delve deeper into the heart of untouched Africa. Your drive will lead you to the Seronera area, renowned as one of Serengeti's most abundant wildlife habitats.

This region is intersected by the Seronera River, a vital water source attracting a diverse array of wildlife, encompassing a majority of Serengeti's species. Upon arrival, you'll relish a picnic lunch and partake in an afternoon game drive within Serengeti National Park.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Following your morning meal, you'll embark on a game-viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, a trail winding through the plains south of the Seronera River. This route presents opportunities to spot lions, Thomson's gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. After concluding your morning exploration, don't forget to visit the Visitor Centre, conveniently located near Serengeti Seronera Lodge.

In the afternoon, you'll traverse the Kopjes Circuit, guiding you around the Maasai Kopjes in a counterclockwise direction. These weathered granite outcrops are scattered across the plains, forming self-contained ecosystems that offer shade and water pools after rainfall.

These kopjes are particularly advantageous for wildlife observation during the dry season, as lions often await prey at the watering holes. Notably, large cobras also inhabit these kopjes.

Day 4

Spend your morning exploring the Serengeti further with exhilarating game drives. By midday, you'll begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you head to the park gate, there will be another chance for game viewing before leaving Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon.

Next, your route will take you to Ngorongoro. Upon reaching the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking vista of the vast caldera. Your overnight accommodations will be at Panorama Safari Camp.

Following breakfast, we'll journey to Lake Manyara National Park. The park's focal point is the lake itself, serving as a hub for numerous waterbirds.

Among them, bright pink flamingos steal the spotlight, alongside other avian species like cormorants, pelicans, and storks, totaling approximately 400 different bird species in the area. Renowned for their arboreal habits, tree-climbing lions are a notable attraction, often sighted in the central and open regions of the park.

The safari also promises sightings of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. Later in the day, we'll depart from the park, heading back to Arusha.
