Depart from Johannesburg

The safari tour starts with a short 1-hour flight from OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit at 10:30am or 12:30pm. Your guide will be at HDS Airport to meet and greet, followed by a short transfer to the lodge. Rafiki Bush Lodge is nestled perfectly in a wildlife estate where game roam freely. The lodge is the return point after each day spent on safari. After check-in, you will enjoy lunch and start your first afternoon game drive —3 to 4 hours in a private game reserve.

Kruger National Park Safari

Depart early morning from the lodge for a full day in an open safari vehicle, discovering the famous Kruger National Park. During the day, you will explore a large area of the central part of Kruger in search of African wildlife. You will have your meals en route and return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Panorama Tour at Blyde River Canyon National Reserve

On day 3, you will start your day with breakfast at the lodge and then depart with your guide for a private panorama tour. The viewpoints this tour will cover are Graskop Gorge, God’s Window, Bourke’s Potholes, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Falls, and Berlin Falls. You will have lunch en route at one of the viewpoints and return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Private Game Reserve

The 4th day offers you a new kind of safari exploration. Starting your day with an early morning bushwalk with an armed guide is definitely the ultimate way to discover the real sensations of nature. This is a 3 to 4-hour safari, and afterward, you will have leisure time at the lodge to enjoy the comfort and poolside. You will meet your guide in the afternoon for a late afternoon and nighttime safari.

Departure to Johannesburg

On your last day, there will be one last morning game drive to give you the best chance to complete the wish list of your wildlife animal sightings. After the morning drive, you will enjoy breakfast at the lodge and check out at 11:00am. Your guide will take you back to Hoedspruit Airport for a short 1-hour flight to Johannesburg.
