On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a Lucas African Adventure representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Tulia Spa & Hotel, which is a calm hotel located in the suburbs of the city with a natural setup and a beautiful garden awaiting the following day.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After an early morning after breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. Your overnight stay will be inside the park.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

You will enjoy an early breakfast and set off on our short game viewing drive in Tarangire where there are more breeding species of birds. Home to Tanzania's largest population of elephants. After that, you'll transfer to Mto Wa Mbu for a biking safari where you will get a feel of the local flavor of Mto Wa Mbu’s eclectic mix of cultures. Mountain biking ride through the farming village of Mto Wa Mbu. On this ride, you will visit local farms, schools, churches, milling machines, and a local bar and enjoy the sights and sounds of this vibrant village. After a packed lunch, you will depart to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Farm of Dream Lodge.

Day 4

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds including flamingos and over 500 other bird species. You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa. Your overnight stay will be at Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning after breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater. You will have an opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino and large families of lions. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. After a packed lunch, you will drive to the Serengeti National Park for a short game drive and overnight stay.

Following an early morning breakfast, your driver-guide will lead you on an exciting full-day game drive in Serengeti. The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. Whilst it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. After the game drive, your driver guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart to Kilimanjaro's waterfalls Materuni, the place is blessed with green vegetation which originates from Kilimanjaro water springs hence making it the best place for coffee and Banana plantations. You`ll pass through coffee and banana plantations, enjoy the nature of the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and visit the waterfalls, get an explanation, and enjoy swimming if you like. Later in the afternoon, you will head back to Arusha.
