Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After enjoying breakfast, your safari adventure begins with a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Marvel at the large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, and experience abundant wildlife near the Tarangire River. A picnic lunch with a stunning view awaits before resuming your game viewing. Later, head to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Marera View Lodge.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for the Serengeti. A long, bumpy road will take you for about 4 to 5 hours of fascinating game viewing while driving up the crater highlands towards the vast plains of the Serengeti. We will stop for a picnic lunch at the Serengeti, Naabi Hill Gate before we check into the park for an afternoon drive. After catching the sunset, we will proceed to Signature Serengeti Camp for dinner and overnight.

Optional activities: You can visit the Maasai villages along the way in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. However, this experience might be a bit commercial for some travellers.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Today, you will wake up very early for a sunrise game drive. The sunrise in the African savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. Also, animals are mostly active in the morning. You will continue with the game drive until lunch. Exit the park in the afternoon and drive to ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp for dinner and overnight.

Today, we will board the safari vehicle at 6 am and descend into the crater with our packed breakfast and lunch. This stunning place will offer you almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino, and if we are lucky, we might spot one. Measuring an area of 260 square kilometers and extending about 20 kilometers in diameter, we will probably need 5 to 6 hours to explore it. Later, we drive back to your hotel in Arusha.
