Day 1

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Following an early breakfast, your journey from Arusha commences towards the renowned Serengeti National Park, often heralded as the most famous national park globally. While the drive may be lengthy, it offers breathtaking scenery. En route, a brief stop at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater provides an awe-inspiring view, an unforgettable moment for first-time visitors.

As you venture deeper into the Serengeti, the meaning of its name, "endless plains" in the local language, becomes evident. With its vast expanse spanning 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), the plains seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, challenging your perception of distance. This park serves as the backdrop for the iconic great migration, with two million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelope species, including impalas and Thomson's gazelles, dotting the landscape.
