You will start your day with an early morning game drive, followed by a full day of exciting game viewing. The Ndutu Region, located in the northern half of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stretches to the unfenced southern area of the Serengeti National Park. This one-of-a-kind site brings these two incredible wilderness areas together in a compelling way.
Lake Ndutu is a popular game viewing area in Ndutu, where large herds of animals congregate. The lake is an important water supply for wildlife and shares a basin with nearby Lake Masek, which is located immediately east of Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, continue north from Ndutu toward the central Serengeti, enjoying game viewing along the way. The landscape gradually changes as you enter the wider Serengeti ecosystem.
Spend the day exploring the plains in search of wildlife. Serengeti is home to large populations of lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs and numerous antelope species.
Your guide will select the best areas for game viewing based on recent sightings and seasonal wildlife movements. Continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before leaving Serengeti and travelling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater floor supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas. There is also a possibility of seeing the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater experience before ascending and continuing to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro or Karatu area.

Lake manyara
Lake manyara
After breakfast, continue to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. Despite being relatively small, Lake Manyara offers diverse scenery, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, wetlands and the alkaline lake.
Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, baboons, hippos and a wide variety of bird species. The park is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are never guaranteed.
After the game drive, begin your journey back toward Arusha or continue to your chosen departure point, depending on your travel arrangements.
