After spending the entire day seeing wildlife on the vast plains of the Serengeti, we'll have lunch at a picnic area inside the park around 1:30 pm. We'll then carry on with our game drives until nightfall. Most people are most familiar with the Serengeti because of the yearly migration that crosses the vast savannah grasslands. Thousands upon thousands of animals, mostly wildebeests, as far as the eye can see, make for an amazing spectacle. In addition to the wildebeests, other notable inhabitants of the Serengeti are cheetahs, leopards, and lions, some of which stay on the central plain and migrate with the latter.
