Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll be picked up at the airport and depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will proceed to the park for a game drive. This park is famous for the millions of flamingos along the lake, white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and many other wildlife. You'll return for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast with wildlife viewing en route, you will depart Nakuru for Masai Mara to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will do your first game drive in this reserve. The reserve is home to the Big Five, birdlife, and wildebeest. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the tented camp.

After breakfast, you will depart for a full day wildlife viewing experience, with a long drive to the Mara River to view the Migration and also view the huge crocodiles. The Big Five: Lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant are easily seen in this reserve. The reserve is well known for its great birdlife, with over 350 bird species. A picnic lunch will be served. After the game drive, you can have an optional visit to the Maasai village. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Tented Camp.

After breakfast, you will depart Mara for Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at the Camp. In the afternoon, you will proceed on a boat ride to the Crescent Island. Lake Naivasha is rich in birds and also has a lot of Hippos, which graze along the shores in the early morning and late afternoon. You'll return for dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.
