Day 1

Today you will arrive at Entebbe airport. Upon clearance with emigration, you shall exit the airport to be received by your guide. You will be transported to your hotel, which is only 20 minutes from the airport.
Your guide will assist you in exchanging money or doing any shopping in town. He will brief you on your safari itinerary.

Day 2

Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable

Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable

Early in the morning, transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight to Kisoro airport, departing at 7:00 a.m. Upon arrival at 8:15 a.m. you will be met by our safari guide, who will drive you to Lake Mutanda, where you will take a boat tour of the islands on Lake Mutanda. Afterward, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Expect to arrive at our picturesque accommodation on the edge of the forest before lunch. Bwindi impenetrable national park is a magnificent green swathe of dense rainforest and is one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth. It is a habitat for nearly 350 bird’ species, 120 mammals, and other insect species. The park is home to endangered mountain gorillas. In the evening, you shall visit Batwa communities, which live on the edge of Bwindi forest. You will learn about their way of life, which depended so much on the forest before it was made a national park. You will also see their tools and their traditional dance.

Day 3

Begin your gorilla trek in the early morning, and set off into the tangled and mist-shrouded forests with guides and trackers who are very experienced at locating the gorillas by finding the nest the family had used the previous night. Watching gorillas in their natural habitat is a memory that will last a lifetime. The experienced ranger guides will willingly share with you a lot of information about the history and lifestyle of the gorillas. After spending an hour with the gorillas, we head back to the lodge and relax.

Day 4

Bwindi to Entebbe

Bwindi to Entebbe

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kisoro Airport to catch your flight back to Entebbe Airport. The flight departs from Kisoro airport at 08:30hr and lands in Entebbe at 11:25 hr. In Entebbe, you will be received by our airport handling assistants and led to check in for your departure flight to your next destination.
