Arusha Town– Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive. Upon arrival, enjoy an extensive game drive through one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal Tarangire River, which attracts a high concentration of wildlife. Common sightings include lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater Floor

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa. Attractions include large herds of buffalo, elephants, hippos, flamingos at Lake Magadi, and excellent chances of spotting lions and the endangered black rhino. Lunch will be taken on the crater floor at a designated picnic site. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Karatu.

Karatu - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through diverse habitats including groundwater forests, open savannah, and the alkaline lake itself. The park is well known for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, elephants, and rich birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. After the game drive and lunch, proceed back to Arusha, we will drop you at your preferable location in Arusha, where the safari concludes.
