Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

The safari departs from Nairobi after breakfast. After a briefing, your adventure begins as soon as you board the safari vehicle. You will drive overland to the bottom of the Great Rift Valley and the iconic savannah, where Masai people and wildlife coexist in the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have lunch at our lodge and then have time to relax before an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wilderness areas in the world. Large mammals are diverse and easy to see. The animals of the Masai Mara are the main attraction, providing drama and intrigue against a backdrop of spectacular scenery. You might spot a Masai moran herding hundreds of cows, shepherding goats and sheep with a single stick or spear—that is their way of life.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

Our entire day in the Masai Mara National Reserve will be dedicated to searching for the big cats of the Mara and witnessing the spectacular view of the famous migration. While on game drives, it is important to keep a sharp lookout as you may witness a dramatic hunt, a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree, or a herd of elephants protecting their young from predators.

The Mara is renowned for its rich wildlife and spectacular scenery, particularly during the annual wildebeest migration, which is considered one of the wonders of the world, especially as the animals cross the Mara River.

The reserve is also known as one of Kenya's most spectacular wildlife viewing areas, with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Game viewing is always exciting in the Mara, and patience is rewarded with unique sightings, such as a pride of lions stalking their prey. All meals will be served at the lodge.
