Your adventure begins at 6:30 am, with apick-up from hotel by the driver-guide and set off on a scenic 7-hour drive southwest to the heart of Uganda’s wilderness.

En route, you'll stop at the Equator in Kayabwe, where you can stand on the iconic 0° latitude line, discover fascinating geographical facts, and snap photos that will become cherished memories.

Continue to Queen Elizabeth NP, arriving in time for lunch. Upon arrival, you’ll head out for an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a wildlife-rich waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Look out for herds of buffalo, pods of hippos, elephants cooling off by the banks, crocodiles, and an impressive array of bird species—including kingfishers, cormorants, and egrets.

After the boat cruise, enjoy an evening game drive along the Channel Track, capturing the magic of the savannah as wildlife comes alive in the golden hours.

Return to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay amidst nature.

Day 2

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi Track and Queen’s Mile. This is one of the best times to experience the park as the sun rises over the savannah plains, casting golden light across the landscape.

Keep your camera ready as you explore these wildlife-rich routes, with chances to spot a variety of species including Cape buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, topis, warthogs, waterbucks, hyenas, and possibly leopards and lions. The morning also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities, with numerous colorful species dotting the skies and trees.

After the game drive, begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable NP, traveling through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP—famous for its tree-climbing lions. With some luck, you might catch sight of these unique predators lounging in fig trees

Day 3

Your guide will drive you to the park headquarters by 7:20 am for registration and a pre-trek briefing by the park rangers.

You’ll then be assigned a gorilla family and set off into the dense jungle, accompanied by armed rangers and porters and then venture deeper into the forest, as you navigate thick undergrowth and winding trails, following signs left behind by the gorillas. The trek can be challenging, but the reward is beyond compare.

Upon encountering the gorilla family, you’ll spend one awe-inspiring hour in their presence—observing their behaviors, listening to their low grumbles, and witnessing the quiet power of the silverback, the dominant male. It’s a profound and humbling experience, knowing you're among the few to witness these endangered giants in the wild.

Later begin your scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, often known for its tranquil waters and 29 picturesque islands. Unwind as you take in the stunning views, then check in at your lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner.

Day 4

Return to Entebbe

Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, check out from the lodge by 8:00 am and begin your 8-hour journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive through Uganda’s rolling hills and countryside.

En route, you'll stop for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara, where you can savor a delicious meal and, if time permits, explore the center’s cultural exhibits celebrating the heritage of western Uganda.

Thereafter, continue your drive to Entebbe.
