Day 1

Transfer to Kibale & Bigodi Community walk

Transfer to Kibale & Bigodi Community walk

Early in the morning, you will leave for Kibaale Forest National Park, which is about 280 km via Kampala to Fort Portal Road. You will arrive in time for the afternoon walk.

In the afternoon, indulge on a nature excursion. Your swamp walk (1-2 hours) will take you through grassland and some beautiful scenery. It is usual to spot 3 or 4 different primate species during the walk through the highlight is catching a glimpse of the great blue Turaco bird.

Day 2

In the Morning, your chimpanzee tracking excursion will commence. Kibale forest boasts of the highest number of primate species in the world, including our delightful cousins – the chimpanzees. At the moment, in Uganda there are approximately 4,950 chimps left in the wild, which makes the forest a perfect and best place to spot chimpanzees in Africa! During the excursion, your ranger will point out the other species living in the forest including birds, flora and fauna.

You will be transferred to queen elizabeth in the afternoon, you will arrive in the late afternoon at Buffalo safari lodge.

You will spend the rest of the evening relaxing.

Day 3

Game drives & Boat trip on kazinga channel

Game drives & Boat trip on kazinga channel

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, giving you the chance to explore the incredible wildlife and landscapes on the plains of Queen Elizabeth with thousands of Uganda kobs, lions, elephants. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on a private boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, which lasts about 2 hours. The cruise will take you to the base of the spectacular waterfall, where you can enjoy the breathtaking view and animals on the water side.

Return to the lodge in the late afternoon to relax.

Day 4

Transfer to Bwindi & Batwa Trail

In the morning, we will make a short game drive as we drive out of the park for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside while you pass traditional homesteads and farms.

We will arrive at the lodge in Bwindi in time for lunch.

In the afternoon we will have a batwa community experience the rest of the evening.

Day 5

Gorilla Tracking & relaxing in Lake Bunyonyi

Gorilla Tracking & relaxing in Lake Bunyonyi

This is the day of gorilla tracking. At 7:45 am, you will be at the office for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for pre-briefing, and at 8.30 am you will start the trek. After finding the gorillas, you will spend with maximum of 1 hour. All visitors are expected back at the starting point by 7:00 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.

Afterward, you will leave and sleep in Lake Bunyonyi.

After the challenging and strenuous hike in Bwindi the previous day, some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake are most welcome. The options here are birding, nature walks, swimming, or canoeing. You can decide on which activity to undertake on this day.

Day 6

Early morning, the last part of the journey will bring you to Entebbe Airport.

On the way back after Masaka, there will be an opportunity to stop at the equator for photo shoots, buy souvenirs, and have lunch. We will bring you directly to Entebbe Airport.

There is an option of taking a flight from Kisoro airstrip to Entebbe airport for those who cant bare long distances.
