Your adventure begins with a seamless pick-up from your hotel. You will be transferred to a small aircraft for a breathtaking flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. As you soar above Uganda’s diverse landscapes, you’ll get a bird’s eye view of the lush greenery and rolling hills that characterize this stunning region. Upon landing, you’ll be greeted by your experienced, private safari guide and driven to your lodge, where a warm welcome and a refreshing lunch await.

After checking in to your lodge and enjoying a delicious lunch, you’ll head out to visit a nearby Batwa village—home to the original forest dwellers of Bwindi. Today is the highlight of your trip — an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the experienced park rangers. Armed with essential information and guidelines, you’ll embark on a trek through the dense jungle, navigating through thick vegetation and rugged terrain. The trek can be challenging, but the anticipation of encountering mountain gorillas keeps your spirits high.

This gorilla trekking can be anywhere between 2-7 hours, depending on where this family of gentle giants has settled since the day before. Watching these majestic creatures interact, feed, and play is a profoundly moving experience that words can hardly capture. You’ll spend a magical hour observing them, before trekking back to the park headquarters. In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to explore the local community on a guided walk, before returning to your lodge for dinner.

After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi as you embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park. This journey takes you through the heart of Uganda’s countryside, offering breathtaking views of rolling hills, verdant tea plantations, and vibrant local communities. On the way you'll stop for a beautiful boat safari along the Kazinga Channel to view Hippos, Crocodiles and an amazing array of Nile River Birds. Afterward, enjoy a picnic lunch.

In the afternoon, you will continue onward to your safari lodge for check-in and a brief rest. Afterwards, you’ll head out for a walking safari in the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary. This unique wetland area is known for its rich biodiversity and offers excellent bird-watching opportunities. You'll return to your lodge in the evening, where a delightful dinner awaits, and relax in the tranquil surroundings.

Watching the chimpanzees in their natural environment as they socialize, feed, and play is a truly captivating experience.
