1-Day Experience Standard Train Ride to Mikumi Park

• You'll be collected from the airport.

0600 AM, Departure from Dar Train Station.
Arrive at least 30 min early to board the business class on Tanzania’s first SGR. Enjoy comfortable journey with scenic views during the 1.50 hrs ride.

0750 AM, Arrival in Morogoro, SGR Station.
You'll meet our driver/guide, he will drive you directly to Mikumi Park.

From 1020 AM, Go on Guided Game Drive in Mikumi Park.
Embark on a thrilling game drive in the Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife. Our guide will try to navigate you through the park’s landscapes and ensuring optimal wildlife sightings.

0215 PM, Lunch Break.
Go for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park. After lunch break proceed with game driving until late evening.

0500 PM, Departure from Mikumi National Park
Bid farewell to Mikumi as you begin your journey back to Dar.

0730 PM, Board the Train to Dar.
Relax & enjoy the evening train ride, reflecting on the day’s wildlife encounters & experience.

0850 PM, Arrival in Dar es Salaam.
