Day 1

Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

I will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe Airport Early Morning and transfer to Kibale National Park. The drive to Kibale National Park is around 3-4 hours. Upon arrival we will have lunch and check into your lodge for the evening which overlooks the forest. In the afternoon we will go for Bigodi Swamp through the forest with a local guide as we prepare for chimpanzee trekking the following day. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer back to Kampal

Wake up early morning, take breakfast as we prepare for the main event. After breakfast we will transfer to park head quarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trek takes around 3-4 hours as we search for and observe chimpanzee troops in their natural habitat. The guides are highly skilled at locating chimps. After the trek we return to the lodge for lunch. Then transfer back to Kampala.
