Merchior Ndadaye International Airport pick-up and transfer to the hotel

On the first day, you will meet with our professional Guide at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport to pick up you from there to your booked hotel then he will give you all information like prebriefing about your day birding trip. Due to the long journey you made, you will have a time to break and prepare the next day activity.

Birdwatching in Lac aux oiseaux

On the second day, we will wake up early in the morning then we leave the hotel at 5:20' a.m. to drive to Lake Rwihinda(Lac aux oiseaux) to do birdwatching as our day activity. We will try to spot some species like Knob-billed Duck, Blue headed Coucal, Palm-nut Vulture and Lesser-striped Swallow. At 10 a.m you will leave there to go back to the hotel to take lunch and you will leave the hotel at 2 p.m. to drive 4 hours from Kirundo Province to spend a night in Bujumbura.
