Arusha Town to Lake Manyara National Park

You will be picked up by your professional tour guide/driver in Arusha town, who will deliver a short safari info (briefing), after which, you will travel to the Lake Manyara National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at the park. After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive.

This impressive park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Lake Manyara Area – Serengeti National Park

Today you will wake up for an early breakfast in your accommodation. Later, you will depart with your lunch heading to Serengeti National Park, the famous park with its vast open grasslands that allow excellent sightings of wildlife.
The climate and vegetation here remained largely untouched for millions of years.

Although the Serengeti boasts rich wildlife, it is perhaps well known for the annual Great Migration where vast numbers of wildebeest; accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The timing of the migration is entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year. After an extensive game drive, you will head for your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Safari in Central Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring the magnificent Central Serengeti with your professional safari guide. This region provides some of the best year-round game viewing in Africa and is renowned for its thriving predator population.

Drive across vast open plains, visit scenic kopjes, and search for the Big Five along with cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, jackals, and hundreds of bird species. Every game drive offers new surprises, making each moment unique.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your adventure until late afternoon. Return to camp to relax around the campfire while listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater - Transfer to Arusha

After breakfast, you will proceed with the game drive toward Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s natural wonders. Ngorongoro is thought to have been formed about 2.5 million years ago from a large active volcano that collapsed inward after a major eruption, leaving the present vast, unbroken caldera as its chief remnant. The cohabitation of man and animal makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania. Your experienced driver guide will explain more about this incredible life. The crater floor water supports a resident population of more than 25000 large animals including elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, wallowing hippos, waterbucks, and baboons. If lucky you can also spot the rare black rhinos. Later, you will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha after warm lunch.

This will mark the end of your 4-day safari with Fondness. You will be dropped off in Arusha.
