1-Day Kilimanjaro Hike Through Marangu Route

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

In the morning, you will be picked up by one of our representatives from either Arusha, Moshi, or directly from the airport—whichever is most convenient for you. From there, you’ll journey to the Marangu Gate, the starting point of your Kilimanjaro day hike. Upon arrival, you’ll complete the necessary park entry formalities.

Once everything is set, you'll begin your trek through the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro National Park along the scenic Marangu Route. This trail is known for its rich vegetation, vibrant flora, and opportunities to spot unique wildlife.

After a steady climb, you'll arrive at Mandara Hut (2,700 meters), the main destination for the day. Here, you'll have time to explore the surrounding area, enjoy a packed lunch, and soak in the beauty of the rainforest and the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Then, you’ll descend back to the park gate, for transfer back to your original pick-up location—whether that’s Arusha, Moshi, or the airport.
