SGR Train to Morogoro & Mikumi Game Drive

Our driver will collect you from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the SGR station for your scheduled train to Morogoro. Enjoy the rail journey through the countryside before meeting your driver-guide at Morogoro station. Continue by road to Mikumi National Park and begin your private daytime game drive in a pop-up roof 4x4. Explore the open plains in search of giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, antelope and lions, with lunch included. In the late afternoon, leave the park for dinner and an overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi. Departure and arrival times depend on the confirmed train schedule; the SGR train travels to Morogoro, with a road transfer onward to Mikumi.

Enjoy breakfast and lunch, then visit a Maasai village to learn about local traditions and daily life. After checking out of Camp Bastian Mikumi, travel by road to Morogoro station for your scheduled return SGR train to Dar es Salaam. Our driver will meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel. The order and duration of activities will follow the confirmed train timetable, allowing time for station check-in. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
