Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

We depart early from your Nairobi hotel. En route to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, we drive through the scenic Rift Valley, with scheduled rest stops along the way. We anticipate arriving by around 11:30am and checkin to our Mara Lodge where you'll refresh followed by lunch and later head for our afternoon game drive from 1:30pm. Our game drive takes us through the mara plains spotted by small acacia bushes while searching for the big cats, mamals and birds. The game drive goes on till evening where we'll head back to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast is followed by a half day game drive within the Mara wilderness. The reserve is 1,510km² (580mi²) in size. It is home to all five of the Big Five and the cultural Maasai people of Kenya. It is the wilderness with the highest concentration of wildlife and also the highest population of the cat family. Our drive takes us through the spotted landscape of the South Rift all the way to the Mara River. We will also have a picnic lunch and an optional nature walk along the river.
After a successful adventure at Maasai Mara, we'll depart to the vibrant city of Nairobi with a dropoff at your hotel/airport.
