Day 2

Today, you’ll depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive, known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. After exploring the park, you’ll head to Marera Valley Lodge (or similar) for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying the serene surroundings and comfortable accommodations.

On Day 3, you’ll travel from Karatu to the Northern Serengeti, a region renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife, particularly during the Great Migration. Today you’ll spend a full day exploring the Northern Serengeti, immersing yourself in its incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes. After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, you’ll head out for a full-day game drive, focusing on the region’s highlights, such as the Mara River, where you might witness the dramatic wildebeest crossings during the Great Migration (seasonal). The Northern Serengeti is also known for its large populations of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti plains. On Day 5, you’ll travel from the Northern Serengeti to the Central Serengeti, a region known for its year-round wildlife sightings and iconic savannah landscapes. After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a game drive en route, allowing you to spot more wildlife as you make your way south. The Central Serengeti, particularly around the Seronera Valley, is famous for its high concentration of predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of herbivores such as zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your exploration of the area. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive, taking in the breathtaking views and diverse ecosystems of the Central Serengeti. As the day ends, you’ll head to your lodge or camp in the Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll descend into the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife, making it a perfect finale to your safari. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending and heading to Arusha for your departure. The drive to the Arusha takes approximately 4-5 hours, passing through Tanzania’s stunning highlands. Arrive the your drop off area and mark the end of your safari.
