Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in the Coast Region—whether you're staying in Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, or Malindi. You'll drive inland through the scenic countryside toward Tsavo East National Park, arriving at the park gate mid-morning. As you enter, the game drive begins immediately, offering your first glimpses of the park’s diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and possibly big cats like lions or leopards. Tsavo East is famed for its vast landscapes and the iconic red elephants that dust themselves in the park's rusty soil. After a mid-morning game drive, you’ll head to your lodge or tented camp for check-in and lunch, followed by a brief rest. In the late afternoon, you'll embark on another game drive, exploring different areas of the park as the wildlife becomes more active in the cooler hours. You’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Game Drives in Tsavo East
