Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your adventure begins this morning with a flight from Wilson Airport, Nairobi, departing at 9:30 a.m. (transfers to and from Wilson Airport are not included but can be arranged at an additional cost). Enjoy a scenic one-hour flight over the Great Rift Valley, offering breathtaking aerial views of Kenya’s diverse landscapes.

Upon arrival in the Masai Mara around 10:45 a.m., you’ll be met at the airstrip by your driver-guide and enjoy your first short game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp. After checking in, take some time to relax and enjoy lunch as you take in the beautiful surroundings.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the Mara’s sweeping plains. This is the perfect introduction to the reserve’s rich wildlife — keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and possibly elusive leopards or cheetahs. As the sun sets, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay amid the sounds of the African wilderness.

Between game drives, unwind at your lodge or tented camp, taking in the tranquility and breathtaking scenery that make the Mara so special. Return in the evening for dinner, followed by a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a short game drive en route to the airstrip, giving you one last chance to spot wildlife as you make your way through the reserve. Your return flight to Nairobi departs the Masai Mara between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., arriving at Wilson Airport between 11:45 a.m. and noon.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, your memorable Masai Mara safari comes to an end. Airport transfers are not included but can be arranged at an extra cost if needed.
