Day 2

After breakfast, depart the Tarangire and travel to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater and begin your exploration in the northern, drier region. This area offers a striking contrast to the lush southern part, with arid landscapes that are home to elephants, jackals, and possibly cheetahs. Pause to take in the expansive views and enjoy the unique wildlife encounters in this less-visited section of the crater.
Check-in to your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, embark an beautiful game drive by first descending into the crater, often referred to as the “Garden of Eden.” This fertile region is teeming with zebras, gazelles, and the elusive black rhino. After breakfast, bid farewell to the Crater and set out on a scenic drive to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Midday, arrive at your Serengeti lodge or camp, where a delicious lunch and a brief rest await.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Serengeti. Traverse its endless plains, teeming with wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. Witness predators like lions and cheetahs stalking their prey and marvel at the breathtaking scenery that stretches as far as the eye can see. As dusk falls, return to your lodge for dinner and an evening under the stars.

Seek out the Big Five or simply enjoy the vibrant ecosystem and sweeping vistas. End your day with a sumptuous dinner and a chance to reflect on your incredible encounters.

Return to Arusha
Return to Arusha
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast as you prepare for your journey back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at Seronera airstrip for short flight back to Arusha. As you ascend intoe the clouds, you will be able to reflect on the incredible experiences of the past five days, with the stunning Tanzanian landscapes accompanying you on the way.
You will be picked up from the airstrip and transferred to Kilimanjaro for your onward journey or dropped at a hotel of your choice.
