Program of the day: Your day commences with a prompt 6:30 AM pickup from your lodge, followed by a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park, arriving at exactly 8:30 AM. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a morning game drive lasting until 12:30 PM, offering opportunities to spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elands, oryx, and lesser kudus, with the possibility of encountering predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. From 12:30 PM enjoy a picnic lunch, and then the afternoon game drive will continue to 4:30 PM, immersing you in the park’s wildlife before transferring back to your lodge in Karatu by 5:00 PM.
Tarangire National Park is famed for majestic baobab “trees of life” across the savannah. The Tarangire River draws abundant wildlife in the dry season. At sunset, admire sweeping landscapes before dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge after a rewarding day in this iconic park.

Program of the day: After breakfast at 7:00 AM, you will depart at 7:30 AM, arriving at 8:30 AM before descending at 8:45 AM for an exciting morning game drive. The crater floor offers incredible wildlife sightings, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino—along with hippos, hyenas, zebras, and a rich variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by more game viewing until 3:30 PM. You will then ascend at 3:30 PM and continue with your onward transfer at 4:00 PM, concluding a truly memorable safari experience.
The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Formed over two million years ago, its 600-meter-deep floor spans about 260 square kilometers and sustains more than 25,000 resident animals year-round. This remarkable ecosystem offers exceptional game viewing throughout the year.
