From Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this day, our representative from Nakra Safaris Uganda will pick you up from Entebbe or Kampala and proceed directly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside while you pass traditional homesteads and farms. We will stop at the Equator line for photo shoots and a coffee break. Afterward Lunch en route, you will proceed to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Today Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest & transfer to Volcanoes

This is the day of gorilla tracking. Your driver-guide will transfer you to the office for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for pre-briefing. At 8.30 am, you will start the trek. After finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour. All visitors are expected back at the starting point by 7 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.

Afterward, you will cross from Uganda to Musanze, Rwanda, through the Cyanika border, which is about 2 hours apart.

Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

This is the day of golden monkey tracking. At 7:30 am, you will be at the office for Volcanoes National Park for pre-briefing. At 8:00 am, you will start the trek. After finding the golden monkeys, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour. Being physically fit is recommended.

Transfer to Kigali International Airport

Early morning, you will start with the Dian Fossey Hike, which is about 1-3 hours depending on your fitness level. The last part of the journey will bring you to Kigali International Airport from Musanze, with lunch along the way. It will take you 1-2 hours to reach the airport.
