Day 1
Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park
You'll depart from Nairobi and drive north-west, towards the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch and check in. Later, you'll go for an afternoon game drive. The rainy season ranges from March- June and offers something different, and it’s the best time to visit Kenya for those who prefer a little less crowding. It’s also the calving and nesting season for the birds, and the pasture is abundant. This rainy season would be a good time to tour the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, carpeted by thousands of lesser and greater flamingos that call it home. Buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, warthogs, among many other animals, are seen here.
Later, you'll head back to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
The alternative mid-range hotel will be Hotel Waterbuck, Nakuru.
