This budget-friendly safari to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara departs from Nairobi in the morning, journeying north through the stunning Great Rift Valley. We journey through stunning landscapes in the Rift Valley, heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park.

After lunch, we set off on an exhilarating afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, eager to discover its rich array of wildlife and birds.

This remarkable lake in the Great Rift Valley is home to more than 400 bird species, such as the Great White Pelican, Grey-crested Helmet-shrike, African Spoonbill, Yellow-billed Stork, and Long-crested Eagle. Lake Nakuru occasionally welcomes flocks of migratory pink flamingos – a breathtaking spectacle when the birds come together.

The Lake Nakuru National Park serves as a vital refuge for some of Africa’s most endangered species.

We enjoy dinner and spend the night in cozy en-suite rooms at a welcoming lodge in Lake Nakuru Park.

On the second day of our thrilling journey through Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara, we kick off the morning with a delightful breakfast at our cozy lodge by the lake. Then it’s back on the road, as we journey to our next thrilling game-viewing destination in Kenya, the renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve.

We journey through the breathtaking expanse of the Great Rift Valley, reaching the safari camp close to Masai Mara just in time for a delightful lunch. Later, we embark on an exhilarating afternoon-to-evening game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve.

Then we head back to the tented camp close to Masai Mara Game Reserve for dinner and a night under the stars.

Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Kenya’s premier wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Our morning and afternoon game drives lead us on an exhilarating quest for Africa’s Big Five and the diverse array of wildlife that calls this expansive Kenyan game reserve home. On clear days, the Mara showcases breathtaking orange-tinged sunsets that create stunning photo opportunities. The Mara Reserve spans an impressive 1510km² of breathtaking open landscapes and lush riverine woodlands, tracing the winding paths of the Mara and Talek rivers in southwest Kenya. A single look reveals its charm; it embodies the essence of wide-open savannah, teeming with incredible wildlife.

In the expansive Masai Mara Park, every corner reveals a rich tapestry of wildlife, including majestic Masai giraffes, playful baboons, curious warthogs, elusive bat-eared fox.

Tonight, we’ll be spending the night at a safari camp nestled within a private conservancy close to Masai Mara.
