Day 1

Drive To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Drive To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

At 7:00 AM, the driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel or residence in Entebbe or Kampala.
The drive to Bwindi via Masaka and Mbarara towns is approximately 9 hours.
Stopovers at the famous equator line and for snacks, and photography.
There will be stop over in Mbarara for lunch and drive to Bwindi, reach accommodation in the evening hours.
There will be a chance to explore the community and the surrounding area for a short while.
Dinner will be served at the accommodation.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla Trekking

You'll begin the day with breakfast, ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the thick forests to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for(in groups of 8 pax). Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours, but it's well worth the effort.
In the evening, you will have a community visit of the local Bakiga and Batwa that live close to Bwindi. You will learn about their life, history, and tradition.

Day 3

Transfer to kampala/ Entebbe

Transfer to kampala/ Entebbe

This day marks the end of your 3-day gorilla safari. You will journey back to Kampala, then proceed to Entebbe/Kampala to your hotel or residence, with lunch en route and stop over at the Equator on Masaka road. For anyone with a flight slated for that day or the next day, the driver-guide will be available to facilitate the airport transfer.
