Arrival at Kilimanjaro Internationa Airport - Mkomazi

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by breakfast before departing on a scenic drive to Mkomazi National Park, set beneath the stunning Usambara and Pare Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park’s open savannahs, home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species.

One of the highlights of the day is a visit to the renowned Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary, where ongoing conservation efforts help protect the endangered black rhino. You’ll gain insight into the sanctuary’s important work while enjoying the rare opportunity to observe these remarkable animals up close. Later in the evening, continue to the nearby town of Same for dinner and an overnight stay.
