Day 1

Zanzibar-Central Serengeti

You will arrive at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 am, where our friendly safari guide will be waiting to greet you. They will have a delicious picnic lunch ready for you, and you'll be all set to begin your safari adventure.

Your game drive will start immediately, with a break for lunch around 1:00 pm. Afterward, you’ll continue exploring the Serengeti, keeping an eye out for the majestic big cats and the many herbivores that call this place home.

In the evening, you’ll return to Kontiki Serengeti Camp, where a warm dinner will await you, and you can relax and enjoy your overnight stay under the African sky.

After a hearty breakfast at the camp, you’ll set off for a full-day game drive in northern Serengeti, along the iconic Mara River, where you may witness the dramatic wildebeest crossing an unforgettable moment in nature.

The Serengeti’s landscape is simply mesmerizing. While much of the park is made up of seasonally flooded plains, forests, and shrub savannahs, its true beauty lies in the grassy plains that stretch for miles. Being surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As the animals migrate north, they stampede across vast plains, braving crocodile-infested rivers, all while predators remain in constant pursuit.

After a picnic lunch amidst the Serengeti’s plains, you’ll continue your game drive into the evening. As the sun sets, you’ll return to the camp, where the warmth of a crackling bushfire awaits, allowing you to unwind and reflect on the day’s incredible adventure.

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive safari through the breathtaking Serengeti, exploring its rolling plains in search of both the mighty predators and the gentle herbivores they depend on.

In the late afternoon, you’ll head back to your lodge for a hot, tasty lunch. Afterward, you’ll continue your game drive, making your way across the Serengeti’s vast landscapes until sunset. As the day winds down, you’ll return to your accommodation for some well-deserved relaxation and an overnight stay, ready to reflect on the day’s adventures.

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll collect your picnic lunches and head off to visit one of the seven African wonders – the Ngorongoro Crater. Formed millions of years ago by a massive volcanic eruption, the fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, making it home to the highest concentration of wildlife anywhere in Africa.

The Ngorongoro Crater is teeming with lion families, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and much more. This is one of the best places in the world to spot the rare black rhino, making it an unforgettable experience.

After an incredible day exploring the crater, your driver guide will take you to Farm of Dream Lodge, where you can unwind with a relaxing dinner and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.

Start your day with wonderful memories! After a delicious breakfast and picnic lunch boxes, your safari tour will begin. The 2-hour drive offers a glimpse into local life, with opportunities for discovery along the way. Feel free to stop if anything catches your eye.

After lunch, your guide will transfer you to Arusha Airport / JRO, then flying to Zanzibar marking the end of our services.

En route, you'll explore Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and beautiful baobab trees. You'll also have the chance to see buffaloes, lions, zebras, and more.
