Wake up early and meet your driver-guide, who will brief you about your two-day safari. The journey begins in the early morning from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you are expected to arrive around lunchtime. After having lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including hippos, buffalo and elephants.

After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive & Lake Katwe & Return to Kampala

Start your day with an early breakfast before meeting your guide for a morning game drive. This excursion offers the unique opportunity to catch glimpses of nocturnal animals before they return to their dens. The game drive is a rewarding adventure for wildlife viewing, where you may encounter magnificent animals such as herds of elephants and buffalo, leopards, warthogs, bush pigs, antelopes, and giraffes, among others.

After the game drive, proceed to Lake Katwe, where salt mining is uniquely carried out in Uganda. Here, you will learn about the salt mining process. This drive also provides a chance to enjoy birdwatching, allowing you to spot various bird species, including migratory birds such as the pied avocet, flamingos, and black-winged stilts.

After lunch, begin your journey back to Kampala.
