Arusha/Jro Airport – Tarangire

Program for the Day:

Upon arrival at Arusha or JRO Airport, you will be met by our guide and driven to Tarangire National Park. After checking in at the park gate, we will embark on an exciting game drive to admire the park’s famous large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. We will enjoy lunch at a picnic site within the park. Later, we will drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Experience an unforgettable adventure through Tanzania’s stunning landscapes. This excursion brings you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, followed by the lush greenery of Lake Manyara. Tarangire offers wonderful opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, and impalas. Both parks provide a diverse look at African wildlife and scenic beauty, ensuring a memorable experience in a compact and exciting two-day timeframe.

Following breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, equipped with a packed lunch, to enjoy a comprehensive game drive. During your visit, keep an eye out for the park's renowned tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and the vibrant birdlife surrounding the lake. Following your excursion, you will be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the conclusion of your safari adventure.

Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake located in northern Tanzania, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and diverse wildlife. Situated within Lake Manyara National Park, the area encompasses lush forests, expansive grasslands, and natural hot springs. The park is globally recognized for its significant flocks of flamingos and unique tree-climbing lions, with the lake's surface area fluctuating notably in accordance with seasonal rainfall patterns.
