Welcome to Madagascar! Upon arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Antananarivo. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city, visit the Queen’s Palace, or relax at your hotel. You'll enjoy a delicious Malagasy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Antananarivo - Miandrivazo

Antananarivo - Miandrivazo

After breakfast, you'll depart for Miandrivazo, a small town on the banks of the Mahajilo River. The journey takes approximately 7 hours, passing through beautiful highland landscapes and traditional villages. You'll arrive in Miandrivazo in the afternoon, where you will prepare for the river expedition.

Day 3

Tsiribihina River

After breakfast, you will take our 4X4 and continue further to the southwest to join the marvelous Tsiribihina River, where you are going to start the river tour. Today, you will have a full-day safari on a canoe by admiring the beauty of the riverside with birds and the village people canoeing the canoe to their rice field. A nice bath at the water of nosy nampela will take place before you head to the place where you are going to camp. Here, you will see some lemurs. They will be the first lemurs; then, they will come closer to you. Just prepare some bananas.

Day 4

After your silent night camping and an early breakfast, you will continue the trip. Today is another amazing day at the river.
It will get more and more exciting all the way long. There will be baobabs as well as parrots and other species of birds and crocodiles around as well as sometimes fishermen and people planting around.

Day 5

Tsiribihina River - Bekopaka

Tsiribihina River - Bekopaka

Today is our last morning on the river. After your camping on the riverside in the morning, you will continue canoeing a little. Then, you'll take a zebu chart reaching our FWD. When you meet the driver, you will get into the FWD and continue to Bekopaka. On the way, you will cross the Tsiribihina River again on a ferry boat. After the ferry, you will stop for lunch. Later, you'll carry on till Bekopaka. On arrival, you will check into the hotel for overnight accommodation.

In the morning, you'll explore the Grand Tsingy, a UNESCO-listed limestone forest with breathtaking rock formations and hanging bridges. In the afternoon, you'll have the option to visit the Petit Tsingy, which offers an easier hike and beautiful viewpoints. You'll return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
