Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will go through the usual customs, immigration, and medical procedures. Then, you will be met by a representative of Hallmark Travel Planners outside the airport arrivals section and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe and transferred to the airport. You will enjoy the aerial view of the beautiful changing landscape.
The flight takes only 2 hours over the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys and hilltops, and papyrus swamp. Upon arrival at Kisoro Airstrip, you will be transferred with the lodge vehicle to the lodge. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Day 3

You'll have breakfast at the lodge at 7:00 am. Registration is a simple process where the park staff determines which group of gorillas you will visit.
The park staff discusses your fitness level and advises you of the trekking times and conditions to the various groups based on their location in the park the previous evening.
Once the trekkers are put into groups, each group’s Lead Guide briefs the trekkers on the trekking procedures as well as the dos and don’ts while in the presence of gorillas. After the briefing, trekkers return to their respective vehicles for the drive up the mountain to the starting point.
Depending on where the gorillas were last seen, the trek can take anywhere between 40 minutes to six hours, spent making your way through the tranquil green undergrowth that covers the mountain slopes, with several quiet encounters with the other denizens of the park en route.

Day 4

Early breakfast at the lodge. You'll then check out and transfer back to Entebbe. At Entebbe, you'll connect to another flight to Nairobi.
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the Hallmark Travel Planners team who will transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi.
Nairobi is Kenya's capital city. It is one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, an important commercial and financial regional hub.

After breakfast, you'll check out and drive to the world-famous Masai Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa.
The Masai Mara features a stunning kaleidoscope of wild and rugged landscapes, warm and welcoming people, and an exciting array of creatures —big and small. World-famous for hosting the epic Great Migration, the Masai Mara welcomes 1.5 million wildebeests onto its sprawling savannahs each July through October. The Masai Mara National Reserve and conservancies are brimming with life and offer safari travellers a wide variety of activities to choose from.

Your morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunsets well-worth capturing on camera.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is 1510km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is a typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife.
Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see an abundance of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest.
Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common.

After breakfast, you will leave Masai Mara with picnic lunch boxes heading for the Kenya–Tanzania border at the shores of Lake Victoria. You will then go through the customs, immigration, and health checks before crossing into the Serengeti.
Serengeti which shares the same ecosystem as the Masai Mara National Reserve. This is Tanzania's largest game park, covering some 14736 km² of African bushveld.
Serengeti is a year-round game viewing destination, offering world-class wildlife viewing throughout the year.
Serengeti National Park and the neighboring Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya are, however, best known for the annual wildebeest migration. Also known as the Great Migration, this wildlife spectacle is set in motion when an endless sea of grazers migrates across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

Today, you'll explore the vast Serengeti plains on game drives, going in search of the staggering variety of wildlife found here. The Serengeti is one of Africa's most famous game parks, boasting prime open savannahs, teeming with wild animals.
This epic wildlife migration sees a wildebeest population of over a million stampeding through grasslands and rivers. The incredible wildlife migration also includes several other hoofed animals, such as zebra, Thomson's gazelle, impala, topi, Grant's gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk's dik-dik, oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe, and more! This awe-inspiring herd of grazers, in turn, attracts the predators of the Serengeti, from lion, leopard, and cheetah, to hyena, jackals, and bat-eared foxes.
The bird watching in Serengeti National Park is also impressive, with common sightings including ostrich and kori bustard, as well as larks, finches, raptors and the distinctive lilac breasted roller.

You'll have breakfast and then depart, enjoying a game drive within the valley of Seronera Valley. You will find many zebras, lions and the wildebeests, the big cats here include; leopards and the cheetahs.
A short stop over visit at the Ol Duvai Gorge before proceeding to the crater. Olduvai Gorge stands at the far end of the NCA. It is home to an archaeological site that is regarded as the cradle of humankind. It is considered the most important prehistoric site in the world. Over 50 years ago, renowned archaeological couple Dr Louis and Mary Leakey, discovered the remains of what are believed to be the earliest humans, Zinjanthropus.
In the afternoon, you'll drive into the crater, which has one of the biggest calderas filled with rich and diverse wildlife species. It has got the acacia forest and the grass steppes, where you will find every type of animal from the East African savannah.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera.

Day 10

After breakfast, you'll drive to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you'll transfer to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by Hallmark Travel Planner’s representative and transferred to your beach resort.
Nothing is typical in Zanzibar. Home of some of the best beaches and diving in the world, it is a string of islands sitting off the coast of Tanzania. The islands are awash with culture, history, and magnificent coasts under swaying palms. Come here to relax, explore, and feel the vibe of a different sort of Africa.
The largest island and the epicenter of Zanzibar is called Unguja, but most just refer to it informally as Zanzibar Island. This is the home of the historic old quarter called Stone Town, a World Heritage site. It is a former trading center characterized by winding passageways, mosques, colonial forts, palaces, and museums.

Day 11-13

You'll spend the days enjothe ying beaches of Zanzibar and the Swahili way of living or at the resort's swimming pool.
One of the favorite things to do in Zanzibar is to visit one of the small-scale spice farms on the island —you get a hands-on experience tasting and smelling the spices for which the island is famous.
Another area to explore on Zanzibar is the enchanting Jozani Forest, where you can see the rare red Kirk's colobus monkeys. These monkeys are endemic to the island and are entertaining to watch leap and play in the trees!
Scuba diving or a diving course for beginners is available (at an extra cost) at most of the beach resorts in Zanzibar. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your hotel.
