Today you’ll drive south through Madagascar’s picturesque highlands toward the town of Antsirabe. The town is famous for its thermal springs and local crafts, including zebu horn carvings and gemstone workshops. Spend the evening strolling through its lively streets before settling in for the night.

Continue westward through changing scenery, passing rice fields, dry forests, and remote rural communities. The journey offers great opportunities to stop for photos and meet local villagers. By late afternoon, you’ll reach the coastal town of Morondava. Here you’ll witness the magical sunset over the famous Avenue of the Baobabs, one of Madagascar’s most iconic sights. Enjoy the golden light and tranquil atmosphere before heading to your lodge.

This morning, enjoy breakfast at your hotel before your transfer to Ivato International Airport.
