Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a brief introduction and safari orientation, you'll transfer to Kampala, Uganda’s capital city. Depending on your time of arrival, you may opt for a short city tour or simply relax at your hotel. This day is primarily for recovering from your journey and preparing for the adventure ahead. Day 2
Transfer to Gulu via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Transfer to Gulu via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After an early breakfast, depart Kampala and begin your journey northwards. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where rhinos roam free. Here, you will participate in a guided on-foot rhino tracking experience, learning about rhino conservation efforts. After lunch at the sanctuary, continue to Gulu, a vibrant town in northern Uganda. Check in to your lodge and unwind after the day’s travel.

Day 3

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s most remote and untouched savannah park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon, enjoy an evening game drive in the Narus Valley, where animals congregate around water sources. Expect to see buffalo, elephants, zebras, and possibly lions before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Spend the entire day exploring the rugged beauty of Kidepo Valley National Park. The morning drive takes you deep into the park’s plains, known for their high concentrations of wildlife including giraffes, lions, cheetahs, and ostriches. After lunch, continue to the Kidepo Valley, where the Kanangorok Hot Springs are found. You'll also have opportunities to view the Uganda–South Sudan border. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and rest.

Arrive in the late afternoon and head straight to the Top of Murchison Falls. Watch the mighty Nile squeeze through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunge into the Devil’s Cauldron—one of Africa’s most powerful sights. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

The journey will take most of the day, with breaks for lunch and photography en route. Kibale is home to the highest density of primates in Africa and is especially renowned for chimpanzees. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge near the forest and rest for the night.

After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in and dinner at your lodge.

View hundreds of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and diverse water birds as they congregate near the shores.

Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast and briefing by park rangers, enter the dense jungle to search for a habituated gorilla family. Trekking may take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, you'll spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for a late lunch and afternoon at leisure.
