Day 1

Nairobi - Mount Suswa

Nairobi - Mount Suswa

You'll leave Nairobi early morning heading to Mt Suswa via the Maai Mahiu route with a stopover at the Rift Valley viewpoint. You'll arrive in time and check in at Suswa camp or set up tents, take a health break, then set up your equipment ready to commence the hike. You'll take a warm-up walk around the camp and the Suswa Hill for the remaining part of the day. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2

Suswa Hill

Suswa Hill

You'll leave the camp after breakfast for a full-day walk up Suswa Hill. Mount Suswa has a unique double crater with a moat-like inner crater surrounding a tilted block of rock. The mountain is also known for its lava tubes on the northeast side of the outer crater. You'll enjoy the scenic Suswa crater and caves with a picnic lunch. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the same camp.

Day 3

Suswa - Hell's Gate National Park

Suswa - Hell's Gate National Park

You'll leave the camp after breakfast for the walk to Hell's Gate National Park. The park is characterized by nature trails, picnic sites, and two loop circuits around the park offering a variety of scenic sites and wildlife viewing opportunities. You will enjoy a picnic lunch.

Hell's Gate National Park- Fisherman Camp's

After breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day walk in the park armed with your picnic lunch. Today, you will walk via Fischer's Tower while enjoying the great geographical formation of the park, not forgetting the amazing interaction with the wild animals such as the zebras, giraffes, pumba (warthog), buffaloes, and antelopes. You will proceed to the Fisherman’s Camp/Fish Eagle Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll leave the Fisherman’s Camp after breakfast for Longonot National Park through Kendong Ranch. The greatest attractions and experiences of the park include: a beautifully sprawling volcano and crater forest, coupled with the scenic landscape views of Lake Naivasha and the Great Rift Valley. Major wildlife attractions include buffalo, elands, lions, leopards, bushbucks, common zebras, giraffes, and Grant’s gazelles. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Mount Longonot Hike

Longonot -Nairobi
