Today, you'll embark on a journey south to the Kibale Jungle, renowned as the primate capital of the world, home to around 13 different species of primates. Along the way, you'll stop for lunch to recharge. Once you reach your lodge, you can either unwind and relax or, if you're feeling adventurous, join a guided walk through the local community to stretch your legs after the long drive.

Morning Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via the Equator & Boat Ride

You'll start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by one of the park staff. Afterward, a guide will be assigned to you to lead you into the forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Kibale is famous for its large chimpanzee population, offering a rare opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural environment.

After an exciting day of trekking, you'll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you'll check into your accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is teeming with wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species such as African fish eagles and kingfishers. Later, you'll take a thrilling game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you'll head to the ranger post where you'll receive a briefing on the dos and don’ts of trekking. Then, you'll venture into the breathtaking Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The forest’s beauty is truly mesmerizing—its steep, lush terrain is dense but crisscrossed by animal trails, making it accessible for visitors. The time spent tracking and the terrain itself will depend on the movements of the gorilla group. Once you locate a family of gorillas, you'll have an hour to observe these gentle and endangered giants. The experience will be unforgettable. Afterward, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing overnight stay.

Lake Bunyonyi Exploration & Transfer to Entebbe
