Day 1

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kampala-Masaka road (7 hours drive). En route, make a stopover at the equator for photography and Mbarara for lunch. Later, you'll be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is roughly a 3 hours drive from Mbarara to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 2
Chimpanzees Trekking and Afternoon boat cruise

Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning Chimpanzees trekking in Kalinzu forest, you will be briefed about the dos and don'ts of Chimpanzees trekking and then embark on the forest hike, here you will have a chance to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat. In the afternoon hours, you will partake in a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will appreciate the high scores of elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen including the rare shoe bill.

Day 3
Head To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Isasha Sector
Head To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Isasha Sector
You'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, famously known for tree-climbing lions frequently seen in the area. The chance of spotting these lions stands at about 50%, but sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Should you get to spot them up in the tree, the sight is picturesque and memorable. From Ishasha, you'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey is so interesting as you get to enjoy the scenic view of the highlands of the great Kigezi region. You'll arrive in the evening and then check into your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

You'll have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The time with these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Transfer to Lake Mburo for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 5
Transfer to Entebbe
Transfer to Entebbe
After having an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. This park is famous for zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, Cape buffalos and many tropical bird species. Checkout of the park and transfer to Entebbe with lunch en-route! But along the way, you will make a stopover at the Equator line to have an authentic feel of standing at Latitude 00. From there, you will proceed to Kampala or Entebbe and to be dropped off at your point of call.
