Day 1

Kigali Pick up and Kigali Genocide Memorial and Banana Beer Experience
After your breakfast, our tour guide will meet and greet you at your hotel in Kigali. You will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay your last respects to victims of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide against the Tutsi before leaving the lively capital. You will drive north-west through lush hills and bustling market towns for approximately 2.5 hours to the stunning Volcanoes National Park—well known as the venue for Dian Fossey's pioneering studies of the mountain gorillas.
Later, after check-in, you will go in the evening for a Banana beer experience. This will allow you to immerse yourself in the Rwandan culture while learning how to process Banana beer, a famous Rwandan beer, from a banana plant to a glass of beer.
After this, you will return to your hotel.

Day 2
Golden Monkey Trek and Transfer to Uganda
Golden Monkey Trek and Transfer to Uganda
After your breakfast, you will have a 15-minute car ride to Kinigi Park headquarters for a golden monkey tracking briefing. Then, you will hike up into the rainforest to a group of golden monkeys. Once you find the monkeys, you’re allowed to stay with them for an hour. After the day experience, you will transfer to Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Your overnight stay will be at Travellers Rest Hotel.

Day 3
Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After your breakfast, you will transfer to the ranger station for a Uganda Gorilla Trekking Briefing on dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas, afterwards you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide & hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them, you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters of 10 meters. After the experience, you transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Your overnight stay will be at Bunyonyi Overland Resort or similar.

Day 4
Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Kigali

A leisurely breakfast will be followed by a transfer back to Kigali. Upon arrival in Kigali, Rwanda, your driver-guide will be advised of the drop-off point, either at your hotel or at the airport, to meet your outbound departure time.
