Arusha to Southern Serengeti( Ndutu)

Schedule of the day: Heart of Africa Safari representative from our office, will pick you up from your accommodation or the airport and then transfer you to Southern Serengeti Park (Ndutu) to witness wildlife, emphasizing the Great Migration. Locate an appropriate place in the park to have lunch. Prior to reaching the camp in the afternoon, we will engage in the game drive activity. The Great Migration refers to the gathering of zebras, wildebeests, and various other animals during the calving season. This is the time when wildebeests have their calves. Annually, from mid-December to early April is the perfect period to visit; once the game concludes, you will be taken back to your lodging for rest and overnight stays.

Schedule of the day: Enjoy the Great Migration game drives in Serengeti Ndutu Park again this morning after rising early. In the afternoon, head to Ngorongoro for an overnight stay at the accommodation located on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. This enables you to observe many animals while they are still more lively by entering the Crater early the next day. The Serengeti is better known for its vast groups of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests that travel to the region. Get ready to see lions, cheetahs, and leopards’ native hunters fulfilling their role in the life cycle.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Airport

Begin your day with an early breakfast before your safari guide picks you up for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder, formed by a volcanic eruption millions of years ago, offers a stunning landscape of lakes, marshes, acacia forests, and savannahs surrounded by dramatic cliffs. On your game drive, you’ll encounter diverse wildlife, including zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, over 500 bird species, and possibly the rare black rhino. After the drive, you’ll be transferred to Arusha or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
